Crazy Shorts with Blends is played just like all of the other Sound Readers Crazy Card Games. The splash sound is a short vowel, and the word cards have either an initial or end blend. Students must read the splash (the short vowel), read the word, and then, of course, make up a crazy sentence!
 
These decks can be played again and again as students often struggle with initial and end blends in words - long after they learn their short vowel sounds. FUN!! FUN!!! FUN!!!
